All) OF BINOCULARS The new comet discovered on Monday and reported to the Carter Observatory, Wellington, by the Wellington Observatory, has been seen by Mr. J. P. Artha. of 8. Grove Road. Devonpori. with the aid of a pair of binoculars. Mr. Artha found it first with a telescope with a 31 in lens last night, but later experiments revealed that it could be seen with a pair of six or eight power binoculars. He said this morning that the comet was visible from 7 p.m. all through the night. The comet is situated alongside the star Nu Scorpii. and is in the constellation of Libra. It is described as being diffuse with a central nucleus
