Barnes—Jackman.—The engagement is announced between Lionel Thomas, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. \V. A. Barnes, of Onehunga, and Blanche Violet, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W, E. H. Jackman, of Whangarei.
Crowhnrst—Meek.—The engagement is announced between Phyllis, second daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. J. C. Meek, of College Hill, Ponsonby, and Francis Ernest, fifth son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Crowhurst, of Margot Street, Epsom.
Carter—Harvey.—The engagement is announced between Colin Andrew, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Carter, of Main Highway, Ellerslie, and Thelma, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Harvey, of Derry Street, Green Lane.
MePhail — Hedge.—The engagement is announced between Charles John, youngest son of Mrs. E. MePhail, of Point Chevalier, and Kathleen Jane, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Hedge, of Balmoral.
Jerome—Dubois. —Mr. and Mrs. P. N. Dubois, of Avondale, announce the engagement of their daughter. Mollie Violet. to Ronald John (R.N.Z.A.F.), only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jerome, of Grey Lynn.
Hedley—Knight.—The engagement is announced between Robson Frederick (Bob), only son of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Hedley. of 94. Franklin Road, Ponsonby, and Sylvia Mary, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Knight, of 21, Boston Road, Mount Eden.
Rissetto —Tobin.—Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Tobin, of Bright Street, Eden Terrace, announce tne engagement of their second daughter, Isabel Barbara, to Kerle William, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Rissetto, of 69, Mariri Road, Onehunga.
