ALBERT PARK CEREMONY Boy scouts, girl guides and a de- ■ I tachment of the Women's National ■(Service Corps will take part in the I Empire Day ceremony to be held at I the Queen Victoria statue in Albert ! Park at noon to-morrow. The chairman of the central committee of the Auckland Patriotic Societies, Mr. H. T. Gibson, will preside, and there will be several other speakers. Buglers from the guard at Vital Points will play the "Last Post" at the start of the ceremony as a tribute to those who built the Empire, and "Reveille" at the close to sym- . boli.se the call for service. ! On behalf of various organisations wreaths will be laid at the foot of the statue. During the ceremony an Empire Day message from Viscount Bledis- \ i loe will be read. J
