MET KING FAROUK

MR. FRASER IN EGYPT (N.Z.E.F. Official News Service.) CAIRO, May 21. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, this morning visited a formation of New Zealand Engineers stationed at a large British camp. The men gave him a rousing reception. Mr. Fraser met and talked New Zealand news with every man in the formation. He inspected their equipment and camp and was pleased to find that they were comfortable and well cared for. At all camps Mr. Fraser has been able to chat with hundreds of men on topics Avhich are of interest to himself and the men with whom he is speaking. He seems to know every town in New Zealand and at least one person whom the soldier knows, too. King Farouk received Mr. Fraser, who was accompanied by the British Ambassador, Sir Miles Lampson.
