UXDEFEXDED 817118 "We nad differences over the way the wife conducted her apartment house, and eventuallv she told me to leave," said Thomas Willoughby Matravers (Mr. Robinson), explaining to Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court to-day, why he had been over three years apart from his wife, Elizabeth Isabel Matravers, from whom he sought divorce. Petitioner added that his wife had since gone to Australia. A decree nisi was granted. Detailing a short-lived marriage, Robert James Carey said that he was married in FebruarV, 1936, to Jean Carey, and when they were living at her mother's home at Te Aroha in November, 1937, the wife said she wanted to live independently and work for herself. He then left her at her request. He had once since tried to get her to live with him, but without success. A decree nisi was granted.
