Miss A. Law, of Auckland, is at present visiting Rotorua. * * ♦ * Mrs. Hebblewaith. and Miss Connie Hebblewaith. of Epsoaa, are spending a holiday in Rotorua. * * * * Mrs. J. R. Simpson, of Keri Keri, has returned home after spending a few days in Auckland. * * * * Mrs. L. Cashmore and her daughters, of Auckland, have been visiting Mrs. J. N'itz, of Putaruru. * * * * Mrs. J. J. Palmer, of Tauranga, and Mrs. J. L. Menzies. of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel. * # % * Mrs. L. R. Curtis, of New Plymouth, and the Misses Joan and Shirley Curtis have arrived on a visit to Auckland. * * * * Mrs. Henry Seff. of London, who has been on an extended visit to Rotorua, is now in Auckland and is staying at the Station Hotel. * * * * Mrs. C. M. Begg has returned to Dunedin after a visit to Auckland, where she was the guest of Miss A. Kennedv, Penrhyn Road, Mt. Eden. * * * * Mrs. Ives Stocker, of Chefoo, Shan- j tung. North China, has arrived in New Zealand for the duration of the war and is at present staying with her brother. Professor J. A. Bartrum, at Takapuna.
