Scotland. A luncheon party given at the British Embassy yesterday in honour of Mr. Fraser was attended by Hussein Sirry Pasha. Prime Minister, and other Egyptian Cabinet Ministers, General Sir Archibald and Lady Wavell, Lieutenant-General Sir Thomas Blarney, the United States Minister, Mr. Kirk, and senior New Zealand staff officers. The base commandant of the Expeditionary Force gave a largelyattended evening reception at Shepherd's Hotel for Mr. Fraser. The British Ambassador, Sir Miles Lampson, and Lady Lampson, the Greek Minister, M. Capsalis, and Madame Capsalis, and senior officers of the services were among those present.
