BODY IN DRAIN

(0.C.) PALMERSTON N., Wed. The body of a man was found in a large drain which crosses Mr. J. Devine's property near Longburn. It had evidently been in the water for some time. Papers found on the body carried the name of Robert B. Finucane, and it is understood that a man of this name came to the district about April last from Whangarei or Ahipara.
