The Mat son liner Mariposa sailed for Sydney shortly after uonii to-day, with approximately 040 pasengers, *470 of whom joined at Auckland. She will return to Auckland on May 3 and will sail for San Francieco on the same dav.
Kaimiro, of the Union Company, will sail for Greymouth late this afternoon. The Union Company steamer Waimarino sailed early last night for Wellington and South "island ports.
Waiana, Union Company motor ship, loft Lyttelton last night for Wellington. She is scheduled to" leave Wellington for Auckland on Monday night and arrive about Wednesdaj- night.
