Pan American Airways' California Clipper, which arrived at Auckland on Friday, left on her return trip to San Francisco at 8.30 o'clock yesterday morning. In addition to the 17 passengers the Clipper carried a crew of 11 and a quantity of mail and freight. Noumea was I reached at 331 p.m. yesterday afternoon (New Zealand time), and the flight to Canton Island began at <.07 a.m. to-day. 1
