INTRUDERS IN HOUSE.

As a result of an attack by three youths at Stewart Island, Mr. Herbert Hansen, aged 35, has been admitted to the Southland Hospital with a fractured jaw. Mr. Hanse.n, who lives at the Oban Hotel, and who was recovering from an illness, heard some unauthorised persons in his father's boardinghouse. When he went to investigate he was attacked by three youths and injured in the struggle. Mr. Hansen was brought to the mainland by the Tamatea on Saturday afternoon.
