STILL RESISTING.
MACEDONIAN FORTS. Under Pitiless Attacks By Dive-Bombers. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Reed. 5 p.m.) LOXDOX, April 11. Some Greek forts on the Macedonian frontier are still holding out. They were subjected to day-long pitiless attacks from dive-bombers, while loudspeakers attempted to cajole them to surrender by flattering their bravery and declaring that the German? had no quarrel with the Greeks. One Greek garrison counter-attacked and captured a height from the Germans. The German forces to the westward appear to be developing a pincer movement towards Fiorina, tiding blitz tactics. with dive-bombers blasting a path f<»r the army and numerous attacks bv tanks. Fast mechanised units find out the weakest point, on which the whole fury of the attackers is launched. A ca-dc from London states that the f!re«.k force® in Ka«t Thrace are still offering desperate and heroic resistance to the Hermans.
Under R.A.F. Attack. Tlio Germaus. in capturing Monastir. suffered a terrific onslaught from the air. K.A.F. bombers. in constant lowflvinjr attacks, smashed up columns of tanks and armoured cars, inflicting severe casualties. Other bombers are pitilessly pounding at vital communications in the Fiorina area. Still others arc punishing German columns advancing toward Albania.
