The Hcrnc Bay Yacht Club held a race for the Silver Fern class this afternoon, starting and finishing of! the Richmond Yacht clubhouse. The finishing times were: Trlsha (2m). 4h 25m 21s: Tapcre <scr). 4h 26m 31s- Te Kowhal <lm>. 4h 26m 495; Ajax (scr). 4h 27m 40s; Electra (3m >. 4h, 33m 335: Billy Boy (4m), 4h 34m 50s; Sifver Fern (7m). 4h 36m 355; Tainui (6'i;m). 4h 39m 525: Rhythm t6m). 4h 33m 455. Susan and Careless withdrew. Result: (Miss P. Hutchison) 1. Te Kowhai (J. Peet) 2,'Tapere (J. Peet) 2. Tapere (J. Vickerman) 3. The Silver Fern boats will attend the Buckland Beach regatta to-morrow and will race back to Auckland from Buckland's Beach. Officers of the day were G. M. Denns. R. Peet and J. Revv.
