LATE MR. SAVAGE.
MEMORIAL TRIBUTE. CEREMONY AT GRAVESIDE. Commemorating the death of the first Labour Prime Minister of New Zealand. the late Mr. Savage, representatives of the Labour movement and others will make a pilgrimage to his tomb at Bastion Point to-morrow, where a ceremony will be held at tlie graveside. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser. and other members of the Government will Ik- present and also the national president of the New Zealand Labour party. Mr. .Jame* Robe.t.-, and the national secretary, Mr. M. Moohan. A large attendance of the public is expected.
The ceremony will Ix-jrin at '-i o'clock, before which tiini! wreaths will be placed on the sh>|.e above Mr. Savage"* grave by the Prime Minister, Mr. Roberts, and others. Xo procecwion has Ven arranged, but brief addressee will be given at Bastion Point by Mr. Fraser, the Hon. P. K. Paikea. Maori representative on the executive council, the Mayor of Auckland, Sir Krneet Davis, and .Mr. Robert*.
