TEMPORARY VACANCY.
MR. SULLIVAN MAY ACT
(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINTGTOX, this day. The probability of the Minister of Supply, Mr. Suliivaii, taking his place in the War Cabinet during his absence from Xew Zealand oil hie visit to Britain, was mentioned by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, in the House of Representatives last night. The subject was raised by a question from Sir Alfred Ransom (National, Pahiatua), who asked what provision the Prime Minister proposed making in regard to the vacancy in the War Cabinet during the period he would be afferent from the Dominion.
''Well, one of the other Ministers— the Minister of Supply—will probably take my place, but I have otrer suggestions about the matter that I shall be pleased to discuss with the representatives of the people,'' the Prime Minister replied.
