FISH PRICES INQUIRY.

TRIBUNAL ADJOURNED. After a representative of the New Zealand Housewives' Association had stated that while the association believed in a fair standard of living for all trades, it was opposed to any increases in the cost of foodstuffs the sitting of the Price Investigation Tribunal, which has been inquiring into wholesale and retail fish prices, adjourned yesterday afternoon.

Mr. C. 0. Camp, who appeared for the wholesalers, stated that he would like to prepare submissions in writing, in accordance with the chairman's suggestion. Both he and Mr. Matthew, who represented the retail association, were directed to send any submissions to the Tribunal early next week.
