India, a well-known lecturer on world affairs, who has been visiting New Zealand, left for .Sydney by the Mariposa to-day. Captain H. L. Oarland. officer in charge of records at Hamilton Area Military headquarter, has been transferred to the Xortliern Military District headquarters. Auckland. Mr. A. Gordon, of Hamilton. Dominion president of the Xew Zealand National party, tore the ligament of one leg while playing tennis at Wathi Beach yesterday. He will be incapacitated for some weeks. Major L. T. Wileock. who served with the Xew Zealand Forces in the last war and who has been in the Indian Army since 191 S. arrived in Auckland by the flying boat Awarna to spend three months' special leave in Xew Zealand.
