TRAM EXTENSION.
At the la=t meeting of the Auckland Transport Board Mr. K. Annstron; fii;gested that the present tram section from the city to I'itt Street should be extended to the re-ervoir of fireat North TJoad and Ponsonhv Poad>. I his extension \voul<l make the section the length of that from the citv to the top of Symonds Street. Mr. Armstrong knows the reply he must receive from the engineer and manager. Mr. Ford. Wo at Point Chevalier would he nio*t grateful if Mr. Armstrong wnuM n-k the manager to turni>h him wi'h t.- 1 length of t lie three sections (separately!. namely. Grey Lynn to <"inimberlain Park Pasadena to Walker Pond, talker Road to the beach, anil we pay M for this lot.
