Notice of question was jtiven by Mr. Poison (National, Stratford) in the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon to ask the Minister of Defence whether he would make it clear that members of rifle clubs would not be asked to give up their rifles while practically all of them were membens of the Home (iuard. where their ability an rifle shots, with their own rifles, might be of jrreat service if the necessity arose. Mr. Poison said that a statement from the Minister along theoe lines would allay the anxiety that existed among members of rifle clube on this subject.
