TWENTY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY.

ST. JOHN RESERVE DIVISION

The twenty-fifth I>irth«ay of the Xational Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was celebrated recently, when a social evening was held. Alnnit 70 members were present, including the president. Mrs. R. G. Coats, the divisional surgeon, Dr. Elaine Gurr. and lady district and corps officers.

Mrs- C. Webber, lady divisional superintendent, welcomed the members and guests, end games, competitions and vocal items comprised an enjoyable programme. During the evening a presentation on behalf of the members was made to Mrs. Webber, who will be celebrating 2,'t years of service as a member of this division in February next. Mrs. A. R. Penman was also presented with a silver cup for the member showing the greatest improvement in general work during the year.
