PATRIOTIC WORK.
YUGOSLAV CLUBThere was a large attendance at the annual meeting of the Yugoslav Club. The president, Mr. S. Sumich, ttated that £373 had been donated to verious patriotic bodies, and £100 had been lent free of interest to the Government. Commenting on the activities of the club Mr. J. Totich. Yugoslav Consul and patron of the club, expressed his deep appreciation of the work that has been done by the members of the club, and abso of the work of women's committees we* were trying to co-operate with other bodies in Xew Zealand.
The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. M. Jakich, J.P..; **»" presidents, Messrs. T. Kosovich, D. M. Kuluz, J. Pasalich; treasurer. Mr. J. Simunovich; vice-treasurers. Messrs. A. Mrsich, D. Kuluz; secretaries. Messrs. L Yadanovicli. V. Dean: committee. Mesers. L. Antuneivich, J. Unas. J. Yrankovich, M. Bosnik. M. Sumich. J. TvrJeich, T. Ivicevich, P. Soljak, M. Radonich, M. Mr?ich; honorary auditors. Messrs. S. Sumich, P. Kokicb. M. Ravlich. justice! of the peace: honors rv arbitrators, Messrs. L. Marinovich, M." E. Simicb, MDevcidi.
