IN AUCKLAND.
TWO LONDON MOTHERS. NICE TO SEE LIGHTS AGAIN. Countess Ouvaroff, of London, and her two small children are in Auckland. Countess Ouvaroff eaid it was with great relief that they realised that they "were in New Zealand, having heard a great deal about the Dominion in England. She expects to go later to Christchurch, where she has friends. The Hon. Mrs. May and her two small children are also in Auckland. Mrs. May was formerly a Miss Du Croz of Dunediii, and went to England about ten years ago. She also expressed her gladness to be in New Zealand. , " You have no idea how strange it is to see lights again," she said. "The black-out in London certainly taught us to see in the dark." After a ehort stay in Auckland Mrs. May and her children will go South. J
