RAID ON NORWAY. Bombs Dropped On Oil Tanks And Ships. (Reed. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 29. The Admiralty states that Skua aircraft carried out offensive operations over the Norwegian coast. Two remaining tanks at an oil depot, previously attacked, received direct hits. A larger tank was set on fire. Skuas set fire to a motor patrol ship and obtained two direct hits on a 2000-ton supply ship. All the 'planes returned. A message from Stockholm, says the "Svenskad Bladet" states that on a preliminary estimate the damage to Norwegian territory as a result of the German invasion amounts to £25,000,000.
