AIR ACCIDENT.
AUCKLANDER'S DEATH.
SERGEANT J. S. BRENNAN. Cabled advice has been received by Mr. and Mrs. J. 31. Brennan, of 7, Bennett Sheet, Mount Albeit, that their son, Sergeant Jack Steven ('"Digger") Brennan, of the Royal Air Force, was killed accidentally during the landing of an aircraft on Wednesday. He was aged 22.
Born in 'Aueklan i, Sergeant Brennan was educated at the Grey Lynn primary schocl ind the Mount Albert Grammar School* i> After leaving, school he joined the staff of the Regent Clothing Company, Airedale Street. Volunteering for the R.A.F. soon after the commencement of the war, Sergeant Brennan left for England on March 23, after completing training at Palmerston North. Sergeant Brennan was a member of the Grey Lynn Soccer Club's lirst-grade team and was a member of the Xgatira Tennis CJub. ' He was a nephew of Mr. Arthur Rosier, well known in connection with the LaLour union movement.
