FISHERMAN'S ESCAPE.

FAIX IHTO HARBOITR.

Suffering from the effects of exposure in the water in the upper harbour after the dinghy in which he was fiehing capsized, Mr. Ernest George Johnson, aged 64. of Beach Haven, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital earlv this afternoon. Mr. Johnson was fishing off Beach Haven when the accident occurred. Seeing him in the water, Mr. C. L. Oteeii. «f Beach Haven, went out in an* outboard dinghy and brought him to the beach. It was feared at first that Mr. Johnson had drowned, but artificial respiration was applied with success. After medical attention from Dr. R. G. Dudding, of Birkenhead, Mr. Johnson was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is not considered serious.
