COMMANDER NAMED.
MAJOR-GENERAL R. YOUNG. WELLINGTON", thk day. The announcement was made to-dar by the Minister of National Service, the Hon. R. Seinple, thai Major-C.eneral R. Young has been appointed Dominion Commander of the Home Guard. "I consider that we are extremelv fortunate in obtaining the services of so distinguished a soldier and administrator for this responsible position." said Mr. Semple. General" Young's administrative ability will be of th«? greatest assistance in the setting up of the organisation and he will be commencing his new duties without delay.
