FRUITGROWERS MEET.
DELEGATES APPOINTED.
Matters of interest to fruitgrowers were discuesed to-day at the annual meeting of the Auckland Provincial Conference of the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' Federation. Mr. W. J Rod-er an Auckland director of the federation, being in the chair. Mr. S M Conway, local branch manager, acted as secretary. Proposals that would come before the twenty-fourth annual conference of the federation at Wellington next montn were reviewed, and it was ,K>inted out that the orchard turnover for the pa*t year showed an increase over last season though it did not exceed that of Ifl3B. Delegates to the I),.minion conference were appointed as follows:— M 0 ««r« F Firth (Oratia). B. A. Meek (Hnanai)' h" Masson (Te Kauwhata). Elections for the advisory committee resulted:—Messrs. F. Firth'(Oratia) R. F. Land (Henderson), H. Masson (Te Kauwhata). Mr. t. C. Brash, president of the New Zealand Federation, was present at the conference, which will be concluded this afternoon.
