A total of £1811 has so far been received in Franklin (zone D) toward the Provincial Patriotic Fund. The Waipipi Patriotic Comrm.ttee heads the list with £500. This a'inount is apart from th© large contributions 'by the zone in response to the Fighting Services Appeal and the Sick and Wounded Fund.
