CHILDREN ARRIVE.
HAPPY PARTY AT MONTREAL. (Reed, lla.ra.) MONTREAL, Aug. 10. British children, to the number of 147, arrived happily from an eastern port in Canada, where they were sent under the British evacuation scheme. The children were most impressed by the warmth of the weather and the absence of Indians. Some thought they were in Australia, but decided not when they saw there were 110 kangaroos.
