ELOCUTION RECITAL.

A successful recital was given by the pupils of Miss Jean Douglas in the Lewis Eady Hall in aid of the St. John Ambulance Xursing Division funds. Little plays, duologues and individual items were clearly rendered and ably performed by the senior and junior pupils. Solos given by Mrs. A. Keatley and Miss B. McCullougli were greatly appreciated.

The programme was brought to a close with the presentation of examination certificates by Mrs. Cammell, lady district officer, to the following pupils: Dorothy Sly, Joan Meurant, Joy Oxford, Jacqueline Herivel, Ray McCullougli and Marie Pa ton.
