' The position ~on the. local produce j markets id shown by the following official , weekly report of the Auckland Grain, Seed . and Produce- Merchants' Association:— Wheat.—Wheat from Australia i*, now being dischargfd and ex ship deliveries are ' being made. A further shipment is ex- • pected to .arrive soon. The price remains j unaltered. Deliveries ez .merchants' stores, i 7/3 to 7/4 bushel. Barley.—A shipment l is due to arrive shortly, when ex wharf deliveries will be made. This line i* meeting with a good, demand with an unaltered price through merchant*' store*. Undipped; 4/10 to 4/11 a bushel; clipped, 5/3 to 5/5. Maize.—New Zealand maize is now coming in more freely and in fair condition. ' This is used to meet the demand and the price through merchant*' stores is 7/4 to 7/5 a bushel. Chaff and Oats.—The chaff market regains steady, : but the demand is inclined to slacken. Price, £l2*to £12 15/ a ton. Graded pats are in short supply, and the j »*rket remains firm at from 5/9 to 6/1 , a bushel.. " .
