About 300 members and friend* were present at a social evening tendered to nine members of the Wesley Young Men* Institute, who are serving in the Third Echelon. The function win. held in the « esley Bicentenary Hall. Pitt Street, and a presentation 01 a Moffat pocket Testament and a parcel of knitted goods wa» made to each member. Private U. C. Riddel]. W.Y.M.I. general secretary for the pact 14 yeaw=. was alio presented with a porket earner* by the institute, and a wallet from the staff of the Pitt Street Sunday School, of which Air. Riddcll was at one time superintendent.
