TAX ON SOLDIERS.

INCOMES OF EAST TEAK. Some soldiers are adversely affected through the operation of the National Security tax. In the case of men now serving abroad, professional, business or farming income earned last year is no longer being earned. The military pay is free from income tax, hut the legislation recently passed appears to hold a soldier or his wife responsible to pay National Security tax on three fourths of the professional or business income earned last year.
