Prohte last year reached the record level ii ~ 1 - 431 ' 513 ' which was stated to exceed all Australian records. Profits since 1937 have all been over the million mark, the hguree in that year, £1,183,170, jumping from £850,400 in the previous year. The amount sot aside for deprrciaton this v. uhowever, is p-eater than that allow,. ,Ast year, a comparison being £903,354 against ±800,6/0. The directors are doubtless bearing m mind the increase in wear and tear resultant on the company'* Kiea,tly expanded operations due to tlie war.
