INCREASED PRODUCTION

QUALITY STANDARD HIGH

From the point of view of production a record season is disclosed by the directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, in their report to be presented at the twentv-firSt aonr.dl general meeting of shareholders to be held at Jla.mil tot. on August 16. Including amounts clue to the butter, cheese, ui'ik powder and evaporated milk factory's, tne total surpluses in the profit and loss accounts for the year ended May 31 amount to £1.170.630.

The substantial increase in the tonnage of products manufactured by the company, states the report, was due to a large extent to the loyal support of suppliers, coupled with very favourable climatic conditions which obtained during tile greater part ot the season. The effort made by suppliers to increase production on account of the war had also contributed to the improvement ill last season's supply. Suppliers a re" urged to make even effort to increase production to the fullest extent possible during the coming season, and, although the directors that difficulties exist and others may mi*?, they trust that, by practical and mutual assistance, these will be largely overcome iso that suppliers may make their maximum contribution to the drive for increased production.
