WEEK-END MISHAPS.
EPSOM MOTOR CAR CRASH.
SOLDIER UNDERNEATH TRAIN.
Two fatal accidents occurred over the week-end. The driver of a motor . car was fatally injured on Saturday evening when the vehicle collided with a telegraph pole a-t Epsom, and a soldier from Burnham camp who fell beneath an excursion train at the Burnham station yesterday also suffered injuries from which he later died.
Five persons were injured when a motor car capsized at Maramarua yesterday, and the driver of a van at Rotowaro received head injuries when he wae involved in a collision with a train at a level crossing. Several minor accidents occurred in the city and province.
