TROOPS ENTERTAINED.

ORPHANS' CLUB CONCERT.

Thirty-five members of the Auckland Orphans' Club visited Papakura camp last evening and provided an enjoyable concert, the various items being warmly applauded. Among the singers were Mr. E. Snell, who sang '"Onaway Awake, Beloved" (Cowan), and '"Pagan" (Lohr), and the Misses Fowler, who contributed duets, with accompaniment by Mrs. Fisher. Other popular numbers were humorous sketches by Mr. W. Foreshaw and magic by Mr. R. F. Grace. Mr. Trevor Sparling was the accompanist. After the performance the commanding officer' thanked the members of the party, who were later entertained at supper in the sergeants' mess.
