"All ambiguity must be eliminated from our attitude towards Britain," the article states. "There is no need to wait for peace negotiation* to state the case. France will agiiin become a nation, more agricultural thnii industrial. She is willing to enter n Continental bloc and if» ready to establish with Germany and Italy the framework of a great economic agreement regulating imports and exports.
"Ft is a mutter of ordered trade channels in a new Europe. The greatest guarantee France can give Germany is to provide the Reich with agricultural products in exchange for German industrial products. It is, therefore, in the interest of France that Germany should accept this agreement and guarantee."
