RECOMPENSE?

"Patience Perhaps" has chosen the Air Force and is chafing at the delay before he is called up as a trainee and objecting to being called upon to wear a 'badge that proclaims him as medically unfit. As a wearer of one of these badges. I. like hundreds of others, offered my services to any of His Majesty's Forces, and had I been lucky would have been overseas long ago, but through an accident suffered years ago I am classed medically unfit and am compelled to stay at home and wear a badge. I. should like to suggest that we are all rightly proud of the R.A.F., but if so anxious would say in conclusion there are two Echelons already overseas and another in camp. WILLING BUT UNFIT.
