MERCANTILE LOSSES. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 9. It is officially announced that mercantile losses'as a result of enemy action for the week. ended June 30, were six British ships, totalling 30,377 tons, three Allied, totalling 9022 tons, and three neutrals, totalling 11,340 tons. The total is slightly above the average since the outbreak of war.. German losses to July 7 were 877,000 tons and Italian 244,000 tons. - British Convoys to July 3 escorted 27,247 ships, of which 40 have been lost.
