CYCLIST KILLED.
COLLISION WITH CAR.
GREAT NORTH ROAD CRASH.
When he was involved in ai collision with a motor car on the Great North Road, near Chamberlain Park, shortly after six o'clock last evening, a cyclist suffered extensive head injuries "from which he died almost immediately. The victim wa6:— Mr. Edward Hunter Peters, aged 36, married, a driver, of 64 Huia Road, Point Chevalier.
A St. John ambulance was sent from the city but Mr. Peters had died before its arrival. An inquest is being held this afternoon.
