I saw a band of pixies A-flying to and fro, Re<l caps, given eaps A-merrily they go. •A-painting of the apples Or dainty coloured leaves, A-daneing in the wind Or whispering in the eaves. For those were autumn's merry elves, Who, when their task was done, Flew out to welcome winter In the golden setting sun.
