FILLING THE FOODSHIPS.

We have our men overseas sacrificing everything they hold dear to help «ir country in distress, yet we have in this country men who refuse to work a little later to help feed those men who are fighting for them. Thousand* of hub, and women, too, would ije quite prepared to do their bit and carry on where the watersiders left off (at midnight) and load vessels with produce that would help our Motherland in her time of peril. Our Government can coneript wealth and manpower. Why not conscript the wharf labourers and dictate to them when and how they ehou]d work? If they are men and not "Fifth Columnists," surely they should at lead do their duty to their country. DUTY BOUND.
