LUCKY ESCAPE.
TRACTOR CRASHES.
PAPAKURA SENSATION.
DRIVER WITHOUT A SCRATCH, (From Our Correspondent.) PAPAKURA, this day. A miraculous escape from serious injury was experienced at Papakura About 10.30 this morning by the driver of a tractor which was hauling a heavy trailer loaded with two other heavy tractor*, one of the caterpillar type. As the outfit was passing the Anglican Church, going north on the Great South Road, the tractor and trailer became completely out of control and ended its career in a water channel outeide the Parish Hall. The tractor, which wae being driven by Ronald. Gemmell, of 14, Victoria Street, Onehunga, turned completely round and fell on ite side with the heavy trailer and its load on top. The driver fell out of hie eeat and scrambled out of the wreck without a scratch.
