BLOMFIELD-O'CONNOR MEET IN FOURTH BOUT.

When two powerful wrestlers of rugged fighting temperament have met on tuvee separate occasions—and each occasion has had a Donnybrook tinale —ordinary ring rivalry in apt to develop to "t'euu ' proportion*. That is the record of BeiiceantMajor Lofty Bloinfield, New Zealand professional heavy-weight champion, and Dan O'Connor, Irish-American wrestler of note, who are matched for the fourth time to-morrow night at the Auckland Town Hall. They have met three times in the past six weeks. On the first occasion Bloinfield was the winner when O'Connor knocked himself out as the result of a missed drop-kick. O'Connor had been well on top at that stage. The second match had aensational results in the fourth round when O'Connor was disqualified tor a low punch; and there was an equally sensational ending to the third meeting in Wellington. This time it was Blomtield who was disqualified—for using hie first during the height of a jolting bout. From all these factors it ..-an be judged that when the two o£ thr.m enter the ring at the Town Hall to-morrow night the stage will be set for plenty of excitement. Well-matched physically, each well equipped in wrestling science, and each of the type that can both take and give hard knocks in plenty, it is impossible to prophesy which will prove the victor. O'Connor has his drop-kick as a major offensive weapon, but Blomfield'u jolt and his fall-taking octopus clamp more than balance that equipment. Dr. Barto Hill, of America, will again be taking part in the preliminary- This time hie opponent will be big Mark Maich.

HcOREADT BEATS CORBETT

By one fell. McCready (17.1) defeated Corbett (16.12). in a professional wrestling contest in Hamilton last evening. McCready obtained the fall in the seventh round with a flying body scissore and press.
