MR. HUGH ADAM.

Well known in New Zealand business circles, Mr. Hugh Adam, of Duuedin, has died aged 83. Born at Paisley, Scotland, Mr. Adam came to the Dominion as a young man. He was a director of NewZealand Breweries, Limited, and manager of the Dunodin company, and was also chairman of directors of the Dominion Rubber Company and a director of the Xew Zealand Express Company. His wife died 22 years ago.
