Unrest And Riots Menace King Carol's Power.

WILL HUNGARY ATTACK?

United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, July 3. The Berlin correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain states that authorised circles deny knowledge of any German guarantees to Rumania.

An Associated Frees report from Bucharest says that Hungarian military preparations have reached a high peak. Black-out lights are strung in the streets and all the omnibuses have been requisitioned for the transport of troops.

Addressing a meeting of the Government party, after the adjournment of Parliament for the summer vacation, Count Teleki, the Prime Minister of Hungary, said the Government would maintain a constant watch on the situation, which was changing daily. Hungary's standpoint was based on the triple interests of Hungary, Europe and Christianity.

A Hungarian deputy closeJy connected with the Government made a violent speech in the Hungarian Parliament against Rumania, and urged that Hungary should invade Transylvania to protect her nationals, says an earlier J meseagft. He added that Germany and ■ Italy would support Hungary. p There was great excitement, and members ehouted: "Bring back Transylvania' Hail, Bulgaria!" and sang the "national anthem. Evacuation of Bessarabia Continues. A Rumanian communique reports that the evacuation of Bessarabia was continued on Tuesday without any important incident. I Rumanian troops are etanding along a line, including Bolgrad, Lunga, Comrat, Graena, Saratagalbena, Lapusna. j Cornesti, Falesti and Zaicani. From Bucharest it is reported that the Rumanian Prime Minister, M. Tataj rescu, in a statement to the Parliameni tary Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday, eaid that Bessarabia was and always would remain a Rumanian province. The Bucharest correspondent of the Associated Preee of Great Britain states that the anti-.Tewish disorders are hindering King Carol's endeavours to save his kingdom.

"Thousands of Soviet supporters have flocked to the Soviet-occupied territory seeking freedom. Whole battalions of the army, with their officers, tried to remain under Soviet protection, but the Rumanian authorities dealt with then; ruthlessly."
