HAUTURU DELAYED.

NOW DUE ON SATURDAY. PORT WAIKATO HELD UP. KAPITI LEAVES FOR WHANGAREI. Delayed by rain, Hauturu, Northern Company steamer, was expected to leave Picton to-day and ehe will now reach Auckland on Saturday. Loading operations on Port Waikato, of the same company, have alt<o been held up by rain. She leaves Lyttelton to-day and is now due in Auckland eome time on Sundav.

Kapiti left port early this morning for Whangarei. Herekino arrived from Portland at 0.30, and later in the morning Pono made port from Thames, Tuhoe arrived from Paeroa, and Clansman returned from Tauranga. (N.S.S. d».)

Waiana, of the. Union Company, left Kind' to-day on her way north, via ports.

Sydney Maru, of the Osaka Syosen Kninya Line, is now in Lyttelton and she ie due ii, Auckland on Monday next.

Kartigi arrived from West port yesterday and berthed at Western wharf. She wae to go to King"s wharf later in the day and then leave for Portland. (L'.S.S. Co.)
