WELLINGTON BEATS TARANAXI. (By Telegraph.—Prees Association.) HAWBRA, Wednesday. By 23 points to 21 Wellington snatched victory from Taraniikl in the last few minutes of play in the annual Rugby match at Hawera to-day. There wae an attendance of 3000. Each side scored three trtes, Taranaki converting three and Wellington one. Wellington added four penalty goal* to 'i'aninakl'e two. At the Interval Taranaki led lftr-0, this being Increased in a few minutes to 21—0. Thereafter, tbe home team failed to score, wliiie Wellington crept up, first scoring • try which was converted, then two penalty Kim In in succession and finally, almost on the call of time, the winning try. ._,„
