ST. MARY'S HOMES.

In aid of the funds of St. Mary's Homes, Otahuhu, a winter fair is to be held in the Town Hall concert chamber on Friday, and will be opened by Mrs. W. E. Parry. In addition to the sale, of various goods a programme of items will be given.

The value of St. Mary's Homes is fully recognised, very many girls having been given help. The institution does not offer an easy escape from responsibility, but it does offer an opportunity of training in self-control and selfrespect, forming habits of industry in housework and the care of children. For this reason it ie hoped that the fair will be well patronised, in order that the homes, may carry on successfully.
